This paper briefly introduces the T-DMB standard based on Eureka-147 DAB and presents a new T-DMB transmission system, which uses a device called the Ensemble Remultiplexer, for mobile multimedia broadcasting service. And we verify the T-DMB standard by using the new transmission system with commercial equipment in the laboratory and in the field as moving on a car in high speed around urban districts surrounded by high buildings.

To meet the needs of various consumers and reuse of digital broadcasting programs, it is necessary to re-transmit the digital broadcasting program produced by a variety of digital broadcasting standards over the different digital broadcasting systems. Especially, some channels in digital terrestrial broadcasting must be re-transmitted through the digital cable broadcasting in Korean digital broadcasting environment. In this paper, we present two possible methods for re-transmission from the digital terrestrial broadcasting to digital cable broadcasting, and propose a real-time re-transmission system.
In this letter we propose a new Shape from Focus (SFF) method using piecewise curved search windows for accurate 3-D shape recovery. The new method uses piecewise curved windows to compute focus measure and to search for Focus Image Surface (FIS) in image space. The experimental result shows that our new method gives more accurate result than the previous SFF methods.
