Computer aided design (CAD) technology is widely used for architectural design, but current CAD tools still require high-level design specifications from human. It would be significant to construct an intelligent CAD system allowing automatic architectural layout parsing (AutoALP), which generates candidate designs or predicts architectural attributes without much user intervention. To tackle these problems, many learning-based methods were proposed, and benchmark dataset become one of the essential elements for the data-driven AutoALP. This paper proposes a new dataset called SCUT-AutoALP for multi-paradigm applications. It contains two subsets: 1) Subset-I is for floor plan design containing 300 residential floor plan images with layout, boundary and attribute labels; 2) Subset-II is for urban plan design containing 302 campus plan images with layout, boundary and attribute labels. We analyzed the samples and labels statistically, and evaluated SCUT-AutoALP for different layout parsing tasks of floor plan/urban plan based on conditional generative adversarial networks (cGAN) models. The results verify the effectiveness and indicate the potential applications of SCUT-AutoALP. The dataset is available at https://github.com/designfuturelab702/SCUT-AutoALP-Database-Release.

Sufficient conditions for constructing perfect Gaussian integer sequences are given. Compared with the constructions given by Chen et al. [12], the proposed constructions relax the restrictions on the parameters of the cyclic difference sets, and new perfect Gaussian integer sequences will be obtained.

Based on odd perfect ternary sequences, odd perfect sequences and ZOCZ sequence sets over the 8-QAM+ constellation are constructed by using shift vectors and mappings. These odd perfect sequences and ZOCZ sequence sets over 8-QAM+ constellation can be used in communication systems to achieve high transmission data rate (TDR) and low interference.

A new construction of shift sequences is proposed under the condition of P|L, and then the inter-group complementary (IGC) sequence sets are constructed based on the shift sequence. By adjusting the parameter q, two or three IGC sequence sets can be obtained. Compared with previous methods, the proposed construction can provide more sequence sets for both synchronous and asynchronous code-division multiple access communication systems.

This letter proposes a class of polyphase zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets with low inter-set cross-correlation property. The proposed ZCZ sequence sets are constructed from DFT matrices and r-coincidence sequences. Each ZCZ sequence set is optimal, and the absolute value of the cross-correlation function of sequences from different sets is less than or equal to $rsqrt{N}$, where N denotes the length of each sequence. These ZCZ sequence sets are suitable for multiuser environments.

In this correspondence, a generic method of constructing optimal p2-ary low correlation zone sequence sets is proposed. Firstly p2-ary column sequence sets are constructed, then p2-ary LCZ sequence sets with parameters (pn-1, pm-1, (pn-1)/(pm-1),1) are constructed by using column sequences and interleaving technique. The resultant p2-ary LCZ sequence sets are optimal with respect to the Tang-Fan-Matsufuji bound.

In this letter, a multiuser cooperative network with multiple relays is introduced, and two decode-and-forward (DF) cooperation schemes are proposed aiming at outage-optimal and fair user scheduling, respectively. The outage probability and asymptotic expressions of symbol error probability (SEP) are derived to evaluate these two schemes. Analysis and simulations show that both schemes can achieve full diversity order, which is the combination of cooperative diversity and multiuser diversity.

This letter presents two constructions of Gaussian integer Z-periodic complementary sequences (ZPCSs), which can be used in multi-carriers code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems to remove interference and increase transmission rate. Construction I employs periodic complementary sequences (PCSs) as the original sequences to construct ZPCSs, the parameters of which can achieve the theoretical bound if the original PCS set is optimal. Construction II proposes a construction for yielding Gaussian integer orthogonal matrices, then the methods of zero padding and modulation are implemented on the Gaussian integer orthogonal matrix. The result Gaussian integer ZPCS sets are optimal and with flexible choices of parameters.

In this correspondence, two types of multiple binary zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets with inter-set zero cross-correlation zone (ZCCZ) are constructed. Based on orthogonal matrices with order N×N, multiple binary ZCZ sequence sets with inter-set even and odd ZCCZ lengthes are constructed, each set is an optimal ZCZ sequence set with parameters (2N2, N, N+1)-ZCZ, among these ZCZ sequence sets, sequences possess ideal cross-correlation property within a zone of length 2Z or 2Z+1. These resultant multiple ZCZ sequence sets can be used in quasi-synchronous CDMA systems to remove the inter-cell interference (ICI).

The resultant ZACSs have column sequence peak-to-mean envelop power ratio (PMEPR) of at most 2, and the parameters of the sequence sets are optimal with respect to the theoretical bound. The novel ZACS sets are suitable for approximately synchronized multi-carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) communication systems.

MDS transformation plays an important role in resisting against differential cryptanalysis (DC) and linear cryptanalysis (LC). Recently, M. Sajadieh, et al.[15] designed an efficient recursive diffusion layer with Feistel-like structures. Moreover, they obtained an MDS transformation which is related to a linear function and the inverse is as lightweight as itself. Based on this work, we consider one specific form of linear functions to get the diffusion layer with low XOR gates for the hardware implementation by using temporary registers. We give two criteria to reduce the construction space and obtain six new classes of lightweight MDS transformations. Some of our constructions with one bundle-based LFSRs have as low XOR gates as previous best known results. We expect that these results may supply more choices for the design of MDS transformations in the (lightweight) block cipher algorithm.

In this letter, a construction of asymmetric Gaussian integer zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets is presented based on interleaving and filtering. The proposed approach can provide optimal or almost optimal single Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets. In addition, arbitrary two sequences from different sets have inter-set zero cross-correlation zone (ZCCZ). The resultant sequence sets can be used in the multi-cell QS-CDMA system to reduce the inter-cell interference and increase the transmission data.

In the massive machine-type communication scenario, aiming at the problems of active user detection and channel estimation in the grant-free non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system, new sets of non-orthogonal spreading sequences are proposed by using the zero/low correlation zone sequence set with low correlation among multiple sets. The simulation results show that the resulting sequence set has low coherence, which presents reliable performance for channel estimation and active user detection based on compressed sensing. Compared with the traditional Zadoff-Chu (ZC) sequences, the new non-orthogonal spreading sequences have more flexible lengths, and lower peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and smaller alphabet size. Consequently, these sequences will effectively solve the problem of high PAPR of time domain signals and are more suitable for low-cost devices in massive machine-type communication.

This letter is devoted to constructing new Type-II Z-complementary pairs (ZCPs). A ZCP of length N with ZCZ width Z is referred to in short by the designation (N, Z)-ZCP. Inspired by existing works of ZCPs, systematic constructions of (2N+3, N+2)-ZCPs and (4N+4, 7/2N+4)-ZCPs are proposed by appropriately inserting elements into concatenated GCPs. The odd-length binary Z-complementary pairs (OB-ZCPs) are Z-optimal. Furthermore, the proposed construction can generate even-length binary Z-complementary pairs (EB-ZCPs) with ZCZ ratio (i.e. ZCZ width over the sequence length) of 7/8. It turns out that the PMEPR of resultant EB-ZCPs are upper bounded by 4.

Recently, many AI-aided layout design systems are developed to reduce tedious manual intervention based on deep learning. However, most methods focus on a specific generation task. This paper explores a challenging problem to obtain multiple layout design generation (LDG), which generates floor plan or urban plan from a boundary input under a unified framework. One of the main challenges of multiple LDG is to obtain reasonable topological structures of layout generation with irregular boundaries and layout elements for different types of design. This paper formulates the multiple LDG task as an image-to-image translation problem, and proposes a conditional generative adversarial network (GAN), called LDGAN, with adaptive modules. The framework of LDGAN is based on a generator-discriminator architecture, where the generator is integrated with conditional convolution constrained by the boundary input and the attention module with channel and spatial features. Qualitative and quantitative experiments were conducted on the SCUT-AutoALP and RPLAN datasets, and the comparison with the state-of-the-art methods illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed LDGAN.

In this paper, we constructed a class of low correlation zone sequence sets derived from the interleaved technique and DFT matrices. When p is a prime such that p > 3, p-ary LCZ sequence sets with parameters LCZ(pn-1,pm-1,(pn-1)/(pm-1),1) are constructed based on a DFT matrix with order pp, which is optimal with respect to the Tang-Fan-Matsufuji bound. When p is a prime such that p ≥ 2, pk-ary LCZ sequence sets with parameters LCZ(pn-1,pk-1,(pn-1)/(pk-1),1) are constructed based on a DFT matrix with order pkpk, which is also optimal. These sequence sets are useful in certain quasi-synchronous code-division mutiple access (QS-CDMA) communication systems.

In this correspondence, a new method to extend the number of quaternary low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence sets is presented. Based on the inverse Gray mapping and a binary sequence with ideal two-level auto-correlation function, numbers of quaternary LCZ sequence sets can be generated by choosing different parameters. There is at most one sequence cyclically equivalent in different LCZ sequence sets. The parameters of LCZ sequence sets are flexible.
