In this letter, a relay-assisted transmission scenario over frequency-selective fading channels perturbed by different random carrier frequency offsets is considered. OFDM and block-double differential (BDD) design are implemented to overcome the problem of intersymbol interference (ISI) and carrier frequency offsets (CFOs). We analyze the symbol error rate (SER) performance of decode-and-forward relaying with BDD design in wireless cooperative communications over frequency-selective fading channels and derive a theoretical upper bound for average SER when the relay (R) is error free. It can be seen from our analysis that the system performance is influenced by the ability of R to decode, and when R decodes without error, both spatial and multipath diversity can be obtained without requiring any knowledge of channel state information and CFO information at the receivers. Numerical examples are provided to corroborate our theoretical analysis.

Compressive spectral imaging (CSI) systems capture the 3D spatiospectral data by measuring the 2D compressed focal plane array (FPA) coded projection with the help of reconstruction algorithms exploiting the sparsity of signals. However, the contradiction between the multi-dimension of the scenes and the limited dimension of the sensors has limited improvement of recovery performance. In order to solve the problem, a novel CSI system based on a coded aperture snapshot spectral imager, RGB-CASSI, is proposed, which has two branches, one for CASSI, another for RGB images. In addition, considering that conventional reconstruction algorithms lead to oversmoothing, a RGB-guided low-rank (RGBLR) method for compressive hyperspectral image reconstruction based on compressed sensing and coded aperture spectral imaging system is presented, in which the available additional RGB information is used to guide the reconstruction and a low-rank regularization for compressive sensing and a non-convex surrogate of the rank is also used instead of nuclear norm for seeking a preferable solution. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm performs better in both PSNR and subjective effects compared with other state-of-art methods.

Bloom Filter is a bit array (a one-dimensional storage structure) that provides a compact representation for a set of data, which can be used to answer the membership query in an efficient manner with a small number of false positives. It has a lot of applications in many areas. In this paper, we extend the design of Bloom Filter by using a multi-dimensional matrix to replace the one-dimensional structure with three different implementations, namely OFFF, WOFF, FFF. We refer the extended Bloom Filter as Feng Filter. We show the false positive rates of our method. We compare the false positive rate of OFFF with that of the traditional one-dimensional Bloom Filter and show that under certain condition, OFFF has a lower false positive rate. Traditional Bloom Filter can be regarded as a special case of our Feng Filter.

Headway irregularity not only increases average passenger waiting time but also causes additional energy consumption and more delay time. A real-time headway control model is proposed to maintain headway regularity in railway networks by adjusting the travel time on each segment for each train. The adjustment of travel time is based on a consensus algorithm. In the proposed consensus algorithm, the control law is obtained by solving the Riccati equation. The minimum running time on a segment is also considered. The computation time of the proposed method is analyzed and the analysis results show that it can satisfy the requirement on real-time operation. The proposed model is tested and the consensus trend of headways can be observed through simulation. The simulation results also demonstrate that the average passenger waiting time decreases from 52 to 50 seconds/passenger. Additionally, the delay time is reduced by 6.5% at least and energy consumption can be reduced by 0.1% at most after using the proposed method.
