Wireless technology improvements have been continually increasing, resulting in greater needs for system design and implementation to accommodate all newly emerging standards. As a result, developing a system that ensures compatibility with numerous wireless systems has sparked interest. As a result of their flexibility and scalability over alternative wireless design options, software-defined radios (SDRs) are highly motivated for wireless device modelling. This research paper delves into the difficulties of designing a reconfigurable multi modulation baseband modulator for SDR systems that can handle a variety of wireless protocols. This research paper has proposed an area-efficient Reconfigurable Baseband Modulator (RBM) model to accomplish multi modulation scheme and resolve the adaptability and flexibility issues with the wide range of wireless standards. This also presents the feasibility of using a multi modulation baseband modulator to maximize adaptability with the least possible computational complexity overhead in the SDR system for next-generation wireless communication systems and provides parameterization. Finally, the re-configurability is evaluated concerning the appropriate symbols generations and analyzed its performance metrics through hardware synthesize results.

In an IoT system, neural networks have the potential to perform advanced information processing in various environments. To clarify this, the robustness of a restricted Boltzmann machine (RBM) used for deep neural networks, such as a deep belief network (DBN), was studied in this paper. Even if memory or logic errors occurred in the circuit operating in the RBM while pre-training the DBN, they did not affect the identification rate of the DBN, showing the robustness of the RBM. In addition, robustness against soft errors was evaluated. The soft errors had almost no influence on the RBM unless they were as large as 1012 times or more in the 50-nm CMOS process.

As advances in networking technology help to connect industrial control networks with the Internet, the threat from spammers, attackers and criminal enterprises has also grown accordingly. However, traditional Network Intrusion Detection System makes significant use of pattern matching to identify malicious behaviors and have bad performance on detecting zero-day exploits in which a new attack is employed. In this paper, a novel method of anomaly detection in industrial control network is proposed based on RNN-GBRBM feature decoder. The method employ network packets and extract high-quality features from raw features which is selected manually. A modified RNN-RBM is trained using the normal traffic in order to learn feature patterns of the normal network behaviors. Then the test traffic is analyzed against the learned normal feature pattern by using osPCA to measure the extent to which the test traffic resembles the learned feature pattern. Moreover, we design a semi-supervised incremental updating algorithm in order to improve the performance of the model continuously. Experiments show that our method is more efficient in anomaly detection than other traditional approaches for industrial control network.

In this letter, we propose a novel framework to estimate the joint distribution of multiple Local Binary Patterns (LBPs). Multiple LBPs extracted from the same central pixel are first encoded using handcrafted encoding schemes to achieve rotation invariance, and the outputs are further encoded through a pre-trained Restricted Boltzmann Machine (RBM) to reduce the dimension of features. RBM has been successfully used as binary feature detectors and the binary-valued units of RBM seamlessly adapt to LBP. The proposed feature is called RBM-LBP. Experiments on the CUReT and Outex databases show that RBM-LBP is superior to conventional handcrafted encodings and more powerful in estimating the joint distribution of multiple LBPs.
